Gazte Antzerki Topaketa is an event, a gathering, about theater for and by young actors. It is organized by Donostia San Sebastian Gazteria and it was presented to the Usandizaga Design students to create a campaign to promote it.
The youngs urgue to create is repressented by the fluidity and movements of the strokes made by hand. They are unpredictable and violent, creating some impure textures that can’t be recreated by computer. They have mistakes. But that’s what makes them special and powerful. Their creativity, expression and skills flourish violently, raising up until they rech the sky. It dosen’t matter if they find an obstacle through the road, they will twist themselves to evade it and reach their goals.
Those flowerish hands that are represented in Gazte Antzerki Topaketa 37 are actually the hands of the young actors that will participate in the event. Those hands are their needs to express, their goals, their dreams. They must be seen, and they must be loved, as a flower is loved in every romantic spectacle.

For this design, it was decided to make almost a full hand proccess, as the ideas that where wanted to be shown sorounded the amateurish, handmade, natural and artistical creativity ideas. Having that on mind, the first sketches and then the variations of the selected ones, even the final designs, where made all by hand. Just de final touches, as typographie and some color adjustement where done by digital.

The final image combined hands and flowers, allways rising umpredictably and creating some expressing designs, almost sculpturical ones. As it was asked to make also some variations for the final sign, those variations where done not only with different colors, but also with different compositions and different hands, but always mantaining the core ideas.
